A public drop-in session was held on 23 March 2026 at Sand Martin House to provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions regarding the plans for the new leisure facility. The session ran in an open discussion format, with presentation slides displayed throughout to support responses to questions raised. Representatives from Alliance Leisure and Peterborough City Council were in attendance. 21 members of the public attended.

Discussion covered a range of topics including pool size, disabled access provision, parking, spectator capacity, and the implications of the site boundary for the athletics club. All questions raised on the day received a response. A number of the most frequently asked questions — including those around proposed facility mix and the anticipated opening date — are addressed in the project FAQ, which is available to view here.

Overall feedback from attendees following the discussion was positive.

Residents are invited to attend the upcoming Meet the Design Team session on 19 May 2026 at Sand Martin House, where there will be a further opportunity to engage directly with the project team. More details will be published ahead of the event.
